Spontaneity isn't always well-received around our house

Case in point:Right before bedtime might not have been the ideal time to cut off the tip of Ella's beloved "dada" but I am all about just ripping the band-aid off when it comes to getting rid of the paci around here. At least she didn't leave me a present in her bed the next morning like Amelia did when I cut off the tip of hers (throw-up if you were wondering.)

I just discovered your blog and I'm so glad to have found you. One of my sons was born with radial longitudinal deficiency (type IV) in his right arm and is getting ready to have his first surgery at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. We are hoping we made the right decision. We are also facing the possibility of thumb pollicization in the future.

Your photos of your daughter's hand after surgery are inspiring. If you are interested in contacting me, my email is julepsandjj@aol.com. (I also have a blog called Juleps and Jon Jons, which is woefully neglected at this moment.)
